The cloth these garments were made from boast increased aetherflow and the golden detailing aids the stabilization of even the most volatile of spells. A little colour variation is added through her skirt and the lining of her glove. The leather framework keeps the coat from flying too wildly out of place, added in consideration of the sheer number of airship rides she was suddenly forced on in a very short timespan.

The finishing touch, her silk bunny ear crown, was a prize she won at the Gold Saucer, and though she realized they probably wouldn't get people to take her seriously she felt they were too cute to remove anyway.

She trimmed her hair following the fight with the Ultima Weapon as the ends were charred and uneven, but ended up liking this length and maintained this hairstyle for a year.

Though the design best suits an arcanist and has plenty of pouches for extra ink and quills, the aetherial embroidery along the hems benefit users of astromancy just as much and won't attract any unwanted attention from those seeking to weed out practitioners of heretical magicks. In addition, the overly white palette of the set does well to shield one against a backdrop of endless snow.

During the skirmish of the Bloody Banquet, Lunya was grabbed by the hair and had part of it sliced off. After retreating to Camp Dragonhead, she cut it even and it remained short and fluffy for some moons.

This coat was particularly useful in Dravania and Abalathia's Spine, where the weather leaned more towards cool than freezing. Now able to practice astomancy openly without as much worry about accusations of heresy, Lunya had Gerolt Blackthorn and Ardashir Balyk's assistance in forging a living weapon: Canopus Lux, which would become her main arm for the years to come.

With the end of the war on the horizon, Lunya began to let her hair grow back again, and temporarily wore it with a cute braided headband and flowers.

The Scions’ time spent out of Ishgard and Dravania meant she could transition back to wearing lighter clothes, to her great delight. These boots were commissioned from Atelier Fen-Yll and crafted with high quality leather made from a scalekin she shot down from the sky in the Diadem. The skin showed no signs of damage despite being hit with the full force of a Fire IV.

The spider lily fascinator she wears is a specimen from Saint Mocianne's Arboretum and its stamens glow when she has too much of an aether build up.

Asymmetry is key in completing the look, balancing the unbalanced aspects of the miniature hat, ruffled undershirt, and thigh-strapped pocket full of various adventuring essentials like a pouch full of sundried sweets.

The zippers of the miniskirt can be pulled up on the go to turn it into a pleated skirt, in case you need more room for your thighs to move when you’re running.

Some may question wearing such an ornate dress to battle, but it's highly conductive to aether and easy to move in thanks to a recent revolution in lightweight enchanted cloth after some work Lunya did in Ishgard. The multicoloured hydrangea kanzashi pinned in her hair was a gift from a renowned Hingan geiko who was a client of her weaving business.

Lunya donned this weapon one more time at the Ghimlyt Dark, sealing the image of her in violet in all the history books to come.

After Stormblood Lunya's hair was the longest it'd ever been since she first set out as an adventurer, so she had it cut in a style popular in Hingashi.

Frustratingly, the erratic climates of Eureka meant sometimes she had to put a coat on and wear pants, immediately losing points for cuteness in exchange for “practicality”.

Styled after the very robes worn by the Ivalician mystics of old, enchanted thread lines the interior of the hem with protective spells, and gold detailing enhances the caster’s magical output. She sought to have a fun little throwback to one of her old outfits with another pair of silly-but-cute animal ears.

The wide sleeves could hide a great number of things up them—knives, a miniature sewing kit, spare rubber backings for her earrings, emergency snacks…

The ornate jewelry was intended to help her stand out as one of the few "dwarves" in the Crystarium and not get trampled underfoot, it seems, by nature of how loud the whole ensemble was.

By the time of the Warriors’ re-encounter with Zenos at the Ghimlyt Dark, Lunya had no time to maintain her Eastern-style bangs and simply resorted to letting her hair grow out. Her friends seemed quite startled by the revelation that she did, in fact, have a forehead.

It was also on her return that she brought her aetheryte earring, which would become a staple accessory of hers after G’raha attuned to the aether within it. By patch 5.2 she now sports two rings: one a simple band with moonstone (a nameday gift from the Scions), and the other a truegold and blue star ruby engagement ring.

The metal clips on this robe would later be repurposed for a certain new Scion’s hairclips.

Ease of movement was key in designing this set as Lunya grew more comfortable with using melee weaponry and Eorzea seemed determined to make her run around even more after returning home from the First. The puffy coat can be easily exchanged for bare sleeves or taken off to add an overshirt depending on the temperature.

Amusingly, the crystal bauble hanging from the hood turns into a striking weapon when she delivers a flying spin kick, whipping around into unsuspecting faces. The outfit also marks the return of her spider lily fascinator right on time for the gang to wander back into Dravania.
