Lunya's most steadfast and loyal friend, having been by her side since her very first days in Ul'dah.
Sirius's mother hated him for his resemblance to his father and she abandoned him on Pearl Lane to fend for himself at four summers old. It was only through the mercy of some of the older urchin children that Jijirusa survived—they took him under their wing and protected him, teaching him what he needed to know to survive life in Ul'dah's slums after giving him a new name. When Lunya—still known as Yeyema—arrived in Ul'dah, Sirius helped her escape her first failed pickpocketing attempt, becoming her protector in the process as the two banded together with Zaya Qestir and Valdis Otoel. It was also Sirius who managed to free her from Susuna's employ by getting ahold of Einar Howl.
After the Calamity, Sirius joined Lunya in doing small jobs for the Adventurers' Guild. Despite their young ages they made quite a reputation for themselves around Western and Central Thanalan for their proficiency in combat, guard, and escort-type jobs, and the plan was for them to leave for La Noscea together on Lunya's 18th nameday. Things didn't work out, though. A job with a supposed-to-be-trusted companion went horribly wrong and Sirius was gravely injured and deemed unfit for combat. Lunya, though nearly catatonic by the incident, decided to stay with Sirius as he recovered.
He now runs the team of retainers that live in her mansion. Sirius is curt, sarcastic, and hard-working to the point of exhaustion. To those who don't know him, he feels cold and ill-tempered, but his found family knows the strength of his love and devotion to them. hile there's no denying he's utterly devoted to Lunya, he's not at all soft on her and he actually calls her out on her bullshit more than anyone else is allowed to.
3' tall and considerably slender for a Lalafell, partly due to his poor nutrition growing up and his tendency to overwork himself.
Considered to be a pretty-boy kind of Lalafellin man, Sirius's most iconic feature is probably his wine red eyes, which when paired with his tendency to follow young Yeyema around earned him the nickname of "Menphina's Loyal Hound" back in the day. The name fell out of use immediately after the Calamity, though. He has a beauty mark under his left eye.
You will almost never see Sirius outside of his uniform, which is an immaculately clean butler's suit with a shooting star pin on the lapel, but if you did you might not recognize him immediately—he dresses like a K-Pop idol incognito at the airport, preferring plain black t-shirts and jeans and a baseball cap pulled low over his eyes and a facemask over his mouth and nose.
Sirius and Lunya trained together in the Pugilists' Guild in the years between the Calamity and A Realm Reborn.

He received his name of choice from the older street urchins that took him in and raised him, but he didn't have a last name until he and Lunya moved into the Lavender Beds and she bestowed him one as a thank you for his friendship. While the second youngest of the retainer team and not much older than the youngest (Butter), Sirius is implicitly considered to be something like a patriarch to the mansion family as its highest authority after Lunya, and the mansion kids regard him as a mini dad. Sirius was originally designed to be a love interest for Lunya before Shadowbringers released. He's heavily inspired by another of my OCs (an original original character) who has a boyfriend but Sirius is just gonna be single forever, I think.

Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky and comes from the Greek word seirios meaning "glowing" or "scorching". It's known as the Dog Star due to its prominance in the Greater Dog constellation Canis Major.
